Comfort Zone

This photograph was taken in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. Polar bears congregate in Churchill in the fall, and wait for the ice to form before hunting for ringed seals and other prey. But females with cubs stay on land until the cubs are old enough to hunt on their own.
